Sophie and Silas' Birthday!

This past weekend we had a birthday party for Sophie and Silas.  Sophie is turning 6 and Silas is turning 4.  I created a video for each of them.  I'm glad they are a part of my family.

Something Funny About Henry

Today in the car, Sadie brought up Shaun Cassidy and we were talking about how mom used to like him and Henry said " I'm glad he is not my father" and then we all cracked up. I thought it was really funny. I'm so glad Henry is in my family!

I Just Want to Say Hi !

Hi everybody! I haven't been blogging because I really haven't had time to. So much has happened since last I wrote. Yesterday Silas had his 4th birthday. He got a green light saber (like he has always wanted) and he got a Charlie Brown movie (which the last one he broke). We have been to silver dollar city twice and once at six flags. We are getting ready to go on vacation and also getting ready to put the house on the market. We are leaving for vacation on the 9th of next month and tomorrow the carpet guy is coming to fix our floors. Also sports have already started. We started school 3 weeks ago(because we are homeschooled). For vacation we are going through St. Louis, Cincinnati, Williamsburg, and Washingtion D.C. . that is going to be the farthest away from home i've ever been and we are so excited. Well I gotta go. A New Smile!

Just yesterday Samuel, my bro got his braces off. He was so glad because when u have braces, u can't eat hard candy, popcorn, raw carrots, carmel, chewy candy, and bubble gum.He was kind of bummed out about that when he had braces, but he can eat that now and now he has to wear his retainer.

How we love playing pretend

Just the other day we were playing " King & Queen " is what we call it and it is when Sadie and Henry were knights, Sophie was the princess, Silas wanted to be iron man, and me and Samuel were king and queen! We have a lot of fun pretending and I think it is 1 good way to get to know each other better.

Henry's Late 8th Birthday

This is about Henry's birthday which was on the 6th of this month. I just haven't had the time to get on my blog. He turned 8 years old and he also wanted donuts for his birthday instead of cake so we got some baseball shaped donuts. We had a good time. Happy birthday, Henry!

Homemade Blueberry Preserves

 Not a week ago we made some homemade blueberry preserves and I made the labels. On Thursday some of us went blueberry picking with a few friends which that was pretty fun to do. Next time I think we are going to pick rasberries. Actually rasberries are my favorite fruit. I hope we do that soon. Bye, bye! 

Summer is here!

I'm so glad it is summer! No school, we are able to go swimming, and for the best part, summer vacation! We plan on going to Williamsburg for vacation and we also got passes to go to Silver Dollar City. We also have free passes to go to six flags! We are going to have a busy summer. I like summer because its weather and what you get to do. I know that some people agree and others disagree but imagine if we didn't have summer. I think it would be kind of weird to me cause I've always lived where I am now. I so thankful for summer!

Nicky's 1 year old pictures

We had some late pictures made for Nicky's 1 year old pictures. Nick's b-day was in February. Sears took all these pictures and I thought all of them were pretty cute. I can't believe that he was born  a year ago. I remember when he was ity bitty and he has grown a lot.

A break

Not to long ago did we have a break from soccer and golf and now we just have a few games in baseball and then we will have a break for the summer. 6 of us were playing sports. Me, Sadie, Sophie, Sammy, Henry, & Silas were playing sports. It was a very difficult spring. Last year into this year I played soccer in the fall, indoor in the winter, and then outside in the spring. I'm really glad that my parents allow me to do those kind of things and pay for them. Along with that I take piano lessons and last Year I did all that with track and I went to a retreat with my church and also doing that this year. I'm blessed to have my parents to allow me to do all that but I'm glad we can take a break for the summer and go swimming and also we are going to go on summer vacation to Williamsburg in Virginia and I think that will be fun. I know we will have a good summer and I hope you do too!

End of the golf season

This year Samuel had some golf lessons and this picture was taken on his last day of golf lessons for the spring and he wants to do summer golf. He really seems to enjoy it and I'm glad.

Blankets for the childrens Hospital

 Us girls ( and Henry )  made some fleece blankets for the children at the hospital. Our mom helped too. The hospital really appreciated them. Our mom had the idea of doing this because she said she knows how cold it gets with the thin hospital blankets so we got them these. I'm glad we did it!
