Happy Birthday Dad!

Sorry this is late Dad.  For Dad's birthday we took him to his favorite burger restaurant, Ron's.  We got him some T-shirts and we celebrated with coconut cream pie!  It was great!  We got a picture of Daddy actually smiling:

Dad, you are the best Dad in the WORLD!  Thank you so much for that!  I wouldn't have chosen any other Dad in the world!  I love you more than you know :)

Sports update

A few weeks ago my team won a Competitive tournament called the WSA Cup.  We are only a recreational team so we were put in the silver bracket but it was tough!  We were so glad that we won! On the Champion game it came to a shootout but Taryn (one of our goalies) saved us and she was awesome!  Our whole team did a great job!  Also about 2 weeks ago we did a tournament in Oklahoma City and we won!  Sadly I got hurt in the Semi-Finals and I couldn't play in the finals.  I got cleated in my knee and couldn't really walk for a couple of days.  I was praying throughout the whole game and my team kept the goals out!  Go Team!

Silas's team has been losing, but they are just beginners :)  Silas has been doing a wonderful job though and is probably one of the best players on the team.  The end of the season is coming up and we'll see how they finish out.  Go Silas!

I don't have any pictures for Sadie, but she did do a tournament which was one of the most important tournament in the State.  She came in second and did a great job!  The end of the season is almost here and they are on their way to first place and they are doing great!

1st place!

This season in indoor soccer my team actually got 1st place! I was kind of suprised because we would only do it for practice in the winter time and we weren't the best indoor team.  We really stepped it up and did good!  We had some challenging teams, but we had the best team and I am so proud of my team!

Sports has kicked off once again!

Sports began a couple of weeks ago and we are busy.  This year Sadie, Henry, and I are playing soccer.  Silas is playing baseball instead of soccer.  Sophie is still in ballet and her recital is getting closer and closer!  Samuel is still in bowling.  We are gone everyday to a practice or a game of some sort!  Sometimes we get really stressed, but I still love it!  We are doing good in soccer and Silas will start up baseball in a few weeks.  Can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Spring Retreat

On Spring break Samuel, Sadie, and I went to spring retreat with our youth group.  It was soooo much fun!!!  The worship was so great and really intense at times!  The speaker was hilarious and the games were so fun!  Some of the games were kind of digusting though.  One game was where your whole team had to eat a raw onion 1st (there was no way I was going to take a bite of that onion).  Another one is when one person from your team had to drink a whole cup of slop (which was our leftover food all week! I think that one was the worst :-)  Another eating game is where your whole team had to eat a whole watermelon and a whole giant jar of pickles and the pickle juice.  So digusting!!!!  But the rest of the games were awesome!  We had noodle lacross, fingerblasters, high 5 football,  amazon woman (which was my favorite), capture the flamingo,  egg toss, and so many other fun games.  The services were amazing and I never got bored of the speaker :-)  The worship was absolutely amazing!!! Just the whole experience was life-changing.  It was sooo worth $160! :)  I can't wait until next year!  It was a blast!

Happy Birthday Sadie and Nicky!!!

 Sadie turned 12 on Valentines Day! Sorry I haven't been posting , but spring is our busy season.  I can't believe Sadie is 12 already!  I remember when she was this age:

Also it was Nicky's birthday on Febuary 16th!  He is 4 years old!  I remember when was born and I can't believe it has been that long!

Now he is sooo big :)

More Birthdays!!!

My 14th birthday was on January 17th and Mom's 42nd birthday was on January 22nd!  Every year all of the girls, mom. and mamoo (that's what we call our grandma) go to the pink house and have tea!  Every year we get the same table and the same waitress :)  After we have tea we go shopping!  After we were finished we came home and had cake and ice cream with the whole family!  It was great!!!  For Mom's birthday we got her a card, some roses, some candies and Dad took her out to eat!  Thank you Aunt Sue and Uncle Del for your card!  Thank Meemaw and Papaw for the gift and the card!  Thank you Nanny for the gift and the card!  Thank you Mamoo and Papaw for your gifts and the card! Thank you so much much Mom and Dad for the gifts and the card!  You guys were all very generous!  I am so blessed!  Happy Birthday Momma!

Christmas!

Sorry this is kind of late!  Like I said in 2 posts before we have been busy!  I didn't get that many pictures.  I only have a couple but i'll tell u what we did.  Every Christmas we make tons of goods for all of our neighbors!  We delivered them and suprisingly everyone was home (that will be the 1st)!  On Christmas eve we have a dinner and this year Daddy made a rib-roast.  It was so good :)  We always open our Christmas PJ's on Christmas eve too!  Here we are in those:  They were footies :)

When we wake up on Christmas morning we always have krispy kreme donuts for breakfast!  We watch T.V until Mom and Dad get up then we open the presents and the stockings.  Later we go to our Grandma's house and have lunch and open more presents!  I am so glad we finally got to see our cousins!  We hardly see them at all!  

Also, our youth group did a ugly Christmas sweater party!  It was fun!  By the time we got home Samuel took his sweater off so it's just me and Sadie in the picture.

We had so much fun this Christmas and we are truly blessed to have all that we have!

Finally!!!!

My team won 1st place in our soccer league!!!!!!  We are officially undefeated!  I am so excited about it!  I have never won 1st in the league but my team always came close by one game!  I think we had a great season!  We had our first indoor game last night and we won!  I can't wait until spring season!  Sadie's team also got 1st place. They also had a very good season! Sadie did a great job!  Here are all of us at the award ceremony:

A late Birthday! (again)

Samuel had his 15th birthday on December 14th.  Sorry I am really late but we have been really busy lately! I can't believe that Samuel is 15 years old! He will get his permit in June!!!  Happy 15th birthday Sam!   

I love you Sam! Your the best big brother anyone can have!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I can't believe it is almost here!!! I can't wait! Tomorrow we are going to start doing our Christmas baking! I'll have some pictures later after Christmas that I'll post later.  Anyway, Have a great week (I know I will), a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!!!  By the way, I don't have a Christmas picture of everyone this year because we didn't bother this year :)

Another recital!

Last Thursday Sophie had another recital and she did very well!  This tme it was ballet instead of tap and she is working really hard on both of them!  Here is the video! Hope you enjoy!
