Last Thursday Sophie had her first tap recital and she did great! She was very excited! She has been working hard every week to accomplish this dance! I think she was really cute in her outfit! She will be having other recitals later on. Here is the video of her first tap dance:

Happy late Birthday Sophie!!!
I am so sorry Sophie for forgetting to write about your birthday!!! On September 6th (I know I am a month late) Sophie had her 8th birthday! I can't believe she is already 8 years old!!! I remember when she was born! For Sophie's birthday we had some family come over for dinner and Sophie got some gifts. She got a snow globe (she collects them), a ballerina outfit (which was her favorite), a movie. I have a picture of her in her outfit below:
Happy Birthday Sophie! I love you bunches and bunches!

The Change of Season
Autumn is my favorite season in the year!!! It is when we get back to school, when soccer starts, when everything just turns into different colors! It is so beautiful outside! Perfect weather for anything! I also like it because you have Thanksgiving to look forward to! It is so beautiful outside and that God is very creative in giving everything different colors! It is perfect:

Sports season just started!!!
Today Sadie started her tournament! We have been doing practices for awhile and next week everything will begin! We are going everywhere now that school has started! Me, Sadie, Henry, and Silas all have soccer, Silas also has football, Sophie has ballet, Samuel has bowling, and we are just about to start piano!!! It is so CRAZY!!! We do love it though! We are all excited to begin:)
Happy 6th Birthday Silas!!!
Happy birthday Silas!!! I am so glad that you are apart of this family! I can't believe you are 6 years old!
For some reason Silas wanted a vacuum cleaner so Mom and Dad got him a real one to put to use:)
I love you Silas:)

Sophie is in Ballet!!!
Sophie did soccer for awhile but she didn't really like it so she thought about it and she wanted to be a ballerina! Mom is so happy :) I did it when I was about 5 years old and hated it! I kind of wished I stayed in it! Sadie also tried it when she was younger and she didn't like it either. Mom is glad that we have a ballerina in the family now! She had her first practice yesterday and she is looking forward to every Thursday! She is going to have some recitals this school year. I write about those later on!

Graduation Crowning
Last Saturday, me and Sadie had our graduation ceremony for graduating Friends and Stars (our class's names from our church). I have done it before when I was in 5th grade. I was awesome!!! We got our hair done by our mom's cousin Laura and she did a great job!!! We also went to the nail salon the day before and got our toe nails done!!! What the honor stars (Sadie's class) got to do was walk down the isle with her parents and when they got to the stage they were crowned by there teacher! I got to walk up on stage and present my speech (which I was very nervous). After the ceremony we had dessert :) We had a great time and we are looking forward to State crowning!!! Here are some pictures that we took:

The Feeling
I miss Kansas City so much! Ever since I got back home I learned that there is absolutely no greater feeling than the feeling you have after doing something for God! I miss all of those children at the block party! I enjoyed seeing them happy! After you put a smile on someone's face, you know that you did the right thing! I miss our car rides, our meals together, everything that happened there. I love all of it! The feeling of doing something for the Lord is absolutely amazing! I encourage you to go on a mission trip if you haven't! It not only does good things for other people, but it is good for you! Getting to know all of the people you go with or meet will definitely change you forever!
Thank you!!!
Thanks again!!!
P.S.- I will be posting some more soon!
